Bespoke learning opportunities

Our ethos is established in the belief that risk taking and independent led learning are necessary to successfully support the development of young people. Our core principle is that community must be at the centre of everything we do. We focus on the relationship between our learners and the natural world whilst promoting holistic learning. This approach guides our learners towards becoming knowledgeable, creative, intelligent, independent, confident, resilient and compassionate individuals who care for the world around them.

Pines Primary offers a core curriculum which is based on the EYFS, British early learning goals and Polish early learning goals. Delivered in an inclusive, safe and stimulating environment. Children will learn in a manner which is cohesive with their individual needs and learning styles. Tailored around their interests.

School day finishes

Our school day runs from 9:00 - 15:30. Our core curriculum is delivered in the form of small group inputs/ project based activities to keep the children interested and on task. Some children may be involved in more inputs than others, depending on their goals/ targets, peer group and age. Our core curriculum combines aspects from the British learning goals with the Polish learning goals. This will allow our children to transition into an international school/ Polish school in the future if required.

Learning HUBs

Our Learning HUBs look out to our beautiful Forest and is fully equipped as classrooms. Located thirty five minutes from the centre of Warsaw. The Pines Learning HUBs are the perfect place for your children to discover their love for learning.

Our Learning HUBs are state of the art and designed just for us, as learning spaces and classrooms. They are furnished with kitchenettes, toilets and showers. Alongside our HUBs we will have a tool usage area, various wildlife areas, a pond, a stream, a garden and raised beds for plants and herbs. All inside a beautiful old Forest.

Core curriculum

Pines Primary is a unique progression in education. We offer a core British curriculum which includes, literacy, maths, history, geography, science and phonics. This is however delivered in a child friendly, Scandinavian style. Our morning inputs (lessons) are delivers in in small peer groups and vary in length depending on group and activity. Lessons often take place outside, in a more practical setting.

Throughout the day children also have the opportunity to partake in a variety of activities. Including: art and design, woodwork, music, sport, cooking and photography.

At Pines Primary we don’t feel the need to fill our learners time. Learning through play is vital to children’s development. We want our learners to be brave, resilient, confident, creative, flexible and happy. We don’t confine our children into personality boxes. Instead we celebrate who they are and we strengthen those unique personality traits.

We strive to create a fundamental foundation for learning. We want our learners to enjoy learning, to celebrate it. As much learning happens behind a desk as it does during play. We embrace that. This however takes time, patience and trust.
